The noxVIEW team had performed an upgrade project on Matcon blender machine at Aurobindo Pharma an Oral Solid Dosage Facility located in Hyderabad
Challenges
- Incompatibility: Older systems do not support the technical requirements necessary for 21 CFR compliance, such as audit trails, electronic signatures, and robust user access controls.
- Ensuring Accuracy: Maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data throughout the transition is the biggest Challenge.
Solution
- As a solution, the noxVIEW team performed an upgrade of the machine for 21 CFR compliance. Using the same PLC hardware, the noxVIEW team developed SCADA software, drawing on their brief but comprehensive understanding of the machine and process knowledge
Results
- As a result, noxVIEW delivered the 21 CFR-compliant SCADA software to meet the standards required for their upcoming USFDA audit, ensuring the machine is ready for future scalability
